Reunion homeowners must adhere to the rules outlined in the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions, which require Owners to obtain approval from the Design Review Committee (DRC) before making any exterior changes to their homes or homesites. The DRC is responsible for reviewing and approving or denying modification requests related to exterior paint colors, structural or architectural changes, and landscaping changes. Any changes in materials or aesthetics of the homesite must be submitted to the DRC.
To summarize, the DRC and Board have updated the request process and categorized modification requests into three categories:
- Exterior paint color changes
- Structural modifications or additions
- Landscape modifications or additions.
Owners who are requesting to change the primary exterior color of a home, including the body, trim, shingles, gutters, etc., are asked to please send an email to the DRC requesting a meeting. This will initiate the DRC to review the location of your home, surrounding home colors, and bring to the meeting some suggested options from the Reunion color palette.
Owners who are requesting to change the color of an accessory to their home (e.g. door, deck, or shutters) are asked to please submit a
Minor Paint Color Change Request Form to the DRC.
